In-home care...because you’ve more than earned it.
We offer personalized care focused on holistic wellness-based health where we evaluate mental, spiritual, emotional, and physical health, rather than simply a disease-based approach.
We also provide patient advocacy, support, and convenient 24/7 in-home access to your physician and caregiver!
It’s time for us to rethink our approach to health – in the comfort of your own home.
What we do & how we started
PEACE OF MIND Aging & Wellness Specialists is a geriatric medical practice designed to get back to the basics: the Doctor/Patient relationship. At PEACE OF MIND, we provide in-home care, education, and guidance to improve the quality of life and bring peace of mind to patients and their loved ones.
Our primary service, our Geriatric Care offers the patient a compassionate, wholistic and person centered level of skilled care, all in the comfort of their own home.
Dementia Care can be a taxing challenge for family members and caregivers. Peace of Mind is uniquely qualified to provide care that encompasses the totality of all that quality dementia care requires
Our geriatric consultations are an integral part of our service and incorporate care for both the patient as well as family members and caregivers. These consultations are thorough and leave all individuals with a sense of ease, security and satisfaction.
Studies show that quality medical care conducted in the comfort of one’s home has a positive affect on treatment outcomes. Peace of Mind seeks to support transition to home settings from treatment centers whenever appropriate and possible.
The Veteran population is one that often underserved and neglected in our society. With the skills to assess, care for and support our veterans, Peace of Mind seeks to faithfully serve those who have served our country.
Meet Dr, Kristen NEBEL
“Throughout my 16 years in medicine, I have learned that the needs associated with aging are not met in the current system. Services are difficult to obtain, confusion exists about the medical plan, and the patient/ family feel like they’re alone. Typically, healthcare services stop when you leave the doctor’s office and patients are left to interpret and implement things on their own with little or no support.”
